I am Suyog Wagh, a passionate chess player from Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, India. I began my journey in chess at the age of 11, and it has been a significant part of my life ever since.
Over the years, I have achieved several milestones in my chess career:
• FIDE Master (FM): I earned the FIDE Master title in 2018, marking a significant milestone in my career.
• Commonwealth Champion: I won the gold medal in the Commonwealth Under-20 Chess Championship, showcasing my talent on an international stage.
• IM Norm Achievements: I scored my first International Master (IM) norm in February 2022 at the Orbis-2 IM Round Robin tournament in Paracin, Serbia, with an unbeaten performance of 7.5/9.
• Recent Successes: In December 2023, I secured second place in the 10th Tamil Nadu IM-norm Closed Circuit Chess Tournament, finishing with 6.5/9 points.
In addition to competing, I am deeply committed to helping others develop their skills in chess. I offer online coaching sessions and courses tailored to players of all levels, aiming to share my knowledge and experience with aspiring chess enthusiasts.
